Gold body dress featuring a sublimation print of the Italian lira on the front and the Slovenian tolar on the back. The design is enhanced with embroidery that resembles rust, crafted from glass, plastic, crystals, and metallic up-cycled charms sourced from vintage jewelry for a unique, textured look

Currency Reborn: Threads of a Greater Culture

An avant-garde fashion concept that draws inspiration from the history of obsolete and forgotten currencies, like the Italian lira or Slovenian tolar. An attempt to restore the intrinsic value of these withdrawn currencies, highlighting their historical significance in fostering unity between Slovenia and Italy. They become wearable art that taps into the rich cultural history of the two countries, showcasing the details found on the Italian lira coins and the modern design elements of the Slovenian tolar. This new fusion currency celebrates the story of two nations united culturally, economically, and historically. A testament to the power of open borders that play a part in cultivating a more enriched and expansive global social climate.
